New websites

A site that answers the questions customers call about.

Hours, prices, how to order, where to park. We start with what your customers ask, then build the pages that answer it.

  1. Listen

What customers ask, what you sell and what you want visitors to do.

  2. Plan the pages

A simple map of pages and the words on them, agreed before any design.

  3. Build

Designed, written and tested on phones, with a keyboard and with a screen reader.

  4. Launch

We connect your domain, launch it and walk you through updating it yourself.

Every site includes

01Mobile

Mobile-first layout

Designed for the phone first, because that's where most visitors are.

02WCAG 2.2

Accessibility built in

Built and tested to WCAG 2.2 AA from the start, not patched on later.

03Contact

Contact & booking that work

Forms, booking and ordering that reach you, tested before launch.

04Search

Search basics

Page titles, descriptions, a sitemap and your Google Business Profile linked.

05Domain

Domain, SSL & hosting

Set up properly, in your name, with renewals tracked.

06Handover

A walkthrough

We show you how to change hours, photos and menus yourself.

Redesigns

Keep what works. Fix what doesn't.

We start from your free check, so a redesign fixes real problems, not just the look.

A bakery homepage

Before: a tiny centered logo, a slideshow, and a vague welcome message in faint text. After: a clear headline, opening hours and pickup times, and an Order for pickup button.

Care & upkeep

Someone's looking after it.

A monthly plan for sites we build and sites you already have.

01Updates

Updates & backups

Platform, theme and plugin updates, with a backup before every change.

02Content

Small content changes

New hours, menus, photos and staff. Email us and it's done.

03Renewals

Domain & SSL renewals

Tracked, so your site never goes dark over an expired card.

04Health

Monthly health check

Speed, broken links and accessibility rechecked every month.

Speed & search

Fast on a phone. Easy to find.

Most visitors arrive on a phone, often from a search. If the page is slow or untitled, many never see it.

  • Images resized and compressed
  • Fewer plugins and scripts, so pages load faster
  • Every page titled and described for search
  • A sitemap and your Google Business Profile linked

FAQ

Questions we hear

Which platform will you use?

Whatever fits. Often that's Squarespace, Wix, Shopify or WordPress, so you can edit it yourself. When you need more, we build a custom site.

Can you work on the site I already have?

Yes. Many projects are updates and fixes, not rebuilds. The free check tells us where to start.

Will I own my site?

Yes. Your domain, hosting and site are in your name, and you have the logins.

How long does a new site take?

It depends on the number of pages and how quickly the content comes together. You get a schedule with the quote.

What does care & upkeep cost?

A flat monthly fee, quoted with the site or after a look at the site you have.

Free · no obligation

Start with what your site gets wrong.

The free check covers accessibility, speed, mobile, links, search basics and your domain. It's the best first step for a redesign.
